Men's Breakaway: Sept 16-18, 2011

We’re looking forward to our next Men's Breakaway retreat in September 2011 (Sept 16 – 18).

Men's Breakaway is your opportunity to get away with the guys! Our hope is that this event will compel and equip you to be fully alive in your relationship with God, be a blessing to your home communities and have a great time building new friendships and camaraderie with other men. It’s also a great opportunity to bring your sons for some father and son bonding. We recommend that all attendees be age 14 years or over. Sign up to avoid disappointment as we anticipate another year of growth in our attendance.

Our Keynote Speaker

Pastor Lennett Anderson is known as a dynamic, inspirational, motivational preacher, teacher and community activist. He is recognized for his leadership and his anointed ministry. He was a keynote speaker at Promise Keepers in 2010.

Our Emcee

Best known as the voice of the NBA's Toronto Raptors, Herbie Kuhn is a dedicated husband, father and Christian. He's found happiness by combining his passion for sports, his gift of public speaking and his desire to serve the Lord.

What to Expect at a Men’s Breakaway Retreat:

We start on Friday with Supper and finish Sunday after lunch. It's man food where the veggies are mostly just for colour and so we can tell our wives we ate a few. You can look forward to: strong Bible teaching – four sessions, powerful worship in music, interaction with other Christian men, golfing, a jam session, gym sports, climbing wall at Widji and more.

Problem solving for men is all about solving the problem!
Men hate reading the manuals for the furniture that needs to be put together – but can spend hours pouring over manuals for cars they will never own

Once a year (for now), we want to take you away from the craziness of work and the balancing act of life – so you can re-focus and re-tool on what is really important – 1. God – 2. Family – 3. Work

The Main Event

Start: Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 – arrival between 5pm and 7pm
Dinner: 7:30pm
End: Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 – departure after lunch, 2pm

Meal Plan (includes Friday dinner through to Sunday lunch – heavy on the meat): $85.35
Program Fee (includes access to all program events, including one of paintball, golf or fishing excursions): $50($60 if staying in own accommodations)
Accommodation (depends on choice)
- Ritzy resort rooms (villa, motel): double occupancy – $109 for 2 nights, per person (put 4 guys in = $54.50 for 2 nights, per person)
- Lodge resort rooms: double occupancy – $99 for 2 nights, per person (put 4 guys in = $49.50 for 2 nights, per person)
- Cottages (various choices, as low as $47.60 for 2 nights, per person – if you put 5 guys in the cottage! Total cost of cottage for 2 nights = $238)

Discount Opportunities!

Early Birds (register and pay before June 30th, 2011 and get $10 per person off total invoice!
GROUPS! Get a $200 Voucher towards another registration with every 10 registrations.

All that being said – if you get on the ball and register 10 guys or more and pay before June 30th and book into one of the cottages – the best price you can get is $159 (plus applicable taxes) not including the $200 Voucher group incentive. It WILL be worth it!
